Continuous School Improvement Goals
Goal 1: All students at Mannheim High School will improve their writing skills across the curriculum.
Essence: In order for students to write effectively they must write fluently and correctly in standard English. Students will develop and utilize age appropriate grammar, content, and vocabulary and will write for a variety of purposes.
Goal 2: All students at Mannheim High School will improve their critical thinking skills throughout all curricular areas.
Essence: In order for students to think critically, they must be able to gather information, organize and analyze that information, generate ideas, synthesize the information into new components, and evaluate outcomes; thereby empowering students to become critical self thinkers. Students will:
- Evaluate data to make informed decisions
- Make choices based on logical reasoning
- Clearly express the practice of critical thinking skills in the writing process.
