Dear Parents and Students:
The cooler temperatures and falling leaves tell us that the season is changing and that we have reached the end of first quarter. At Mannheim High School we take pride in our students and want them to be successful. We have high expectations and are committed to every student attaining a grade point average above 2.0. Please remind your child that seminar time is the perfect time for them to get help from their teachers.
For students with two or more D’s and/or F’s, they will have mandatory tutoring after school on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:00 in the media center until their grades improve.
Report cards will be available for pick up on Parent Conference Day, 13 November. You should also receive a report card at your primary email address. When your contact information changes, please be sure to update it with our Registrar.
Many students are suffering from colds and flu at this time of year. Keeping students at home when they are ill helps control the spread of these viruses as does frequent hand washing.
We welcome your presence at school but request that you stop in the office to sign in before continuing to your appointments.
I am here for you. Let me know how I can help! I appreciate you!
Ms. Shelia Smith
Principal

News of the spread of an H1N1 flu strain has become a topic of concern throughout communities in Europe. DoDDS-Europe is working closely with the European Command Medical Authorities to monitor the swine flu situation across the theater. |
Just can't hide that Bison Pride!
